Would I be wrong if...

Scenario:

I have a family member who is always messing up and doing stuff to piss her mother off (but she lives in the Caribbean still). She's like only 13 years old but she's kind of messy emotionally. I mean, me and my mother haven't had the best relationship either but believe I respect her. I would never do stuff JUST to urk her or make her hurt. If anything, i think if she feels hurt by her mother she'd want to shy down and obey. But No...homegirl is acting like a bratty Caucasian kid (no offense). && she always says whatever pops in her head, is inconsiderate and rushes every task she gets so its 1/2 as or 4/4 as'd. Thing is, I'm convinced she knows right from wrong and does this on purpose. When I ask her why she does this, she says "IDK".
I hate that response because, we know why we do stuff, we are the one's in ctrl after all. So that's garbage. I just don't want her to turn out screwed up && demonic like. Harsh? but thats what happens to those who dont know. They stop caring, fearing and just start screwing...up I mean.

But would I be wrong if i slapped the daylights out of her next time I saw her && she said something smart or did some scandalous junk?
